WILD NECTAR SEASONAL HARVEST
Wild Nectar are beekeepers first. With thousands of hives placed all along the eastern coast of Australia, the bees are free to forage in native bushland and orchards. Neon partnered with Wild Nectar to design packaging for their seasonal harvest. Raw honey for this range is extracted from hives placed around the orange orchards in the Riverina of N.S.W. The packaging is designed to feature this region and bring to life the world of the Wild Nectar bees as they celebrate their orange blossom harvest.
Our packaging captures both the essence of the range orchards, and brings the heroes of the story to the forefront – the bees. Beautifully illustrated, the image draws you into the bees world, giving you a glimpse of what happens when you are not looking. The illustrations are a collaged with photography, creating the unique world of the Wild Nectar bees rejoicing in their harvest within the spectacular orange blooms. Full of natural humour, dynamism and depictions of real Australian native flora – The bees are telling their story, and human intervention is minimal.
In a category that is crowded, our designs aim to disrupt and communicate how raw and natural Wild Nectar honey really is.
